Using SlimPic

SlimPic is a free browser image compressor for JPG, PNG, and WebP. No account is required. Choose a target size, process your images, and download the results.

Your files and rights

Image rights remain with you or the original rights holder. Use files you are entitled to process. Your originals are not modified; keep a separate copy of important photos.

What compression changes

Quality, dimensions, format, and metadata may change. Animated images may become still images. Re-encoding does not preserve EXIF or GPS metadata; files returned unchanged may keep that data. Check results before using or submitting them.

Limits

Select up to 20 files, at most 50MB per file and 200MB total. Inputs above 80 megapixels or 32,768px on an edge are rejected. Processing is limited to 12 megapixels and 8,192px on an edge. A result that does not meet the requested size is labeled accordingly. Device and browser memory limits can cause processing to fail.
